I was thinking last night that I haven't even explained why I am on a dating site in the first place (apart from being single of course!) Well I work in a school, which is predominantly female, so where do you MEET people? I am a bit past going to clubs and queuing in the rain in a short skirt and no knickers so where else? My friend swears by the supermarket on a Friday night. Apparently you need to hang around by the fish counter, or cheese counter or something and check out the baskets of any fanciable men to see if they've got meals for one in there. Very sad and desperate I think. However, I am sad and desperate so one Friday night off I went. Complete with full make up, thong (well you've got to feel the part haven't you?) and nice clothes and there I was pretending to be engrossed in a haddock by the fish counter. I DID get chatting to someone though - wey hey! She was lovely and I'm going to help her do her shopping next week because she has trouble seeing the ingredients listed on the packaging.

The other problem of course is that when you're single and looking, you end up looking at men you'd never even CONSIDER previously. Not long ago I found myself eyeing up someone who could have been my SON. Actually that was in the supermarket too - he worked in the fruit and veg department, so I've moved on from coley to cauli! I think he felt a bit sorry for me when I asked him seductively where the lemons were, and he led me pointedly to the ugli fruit. Oh well, tomorrow's another day.

ROFL, Bibbly you had me in stitches reading this!

Heee, heee, try the library. Linger around the computer manuals and you can guarrantee that some 'male' will try to impress you with his hard drive and the size of his RAM. (I know cos it has happened to me). Oh and whatever you do don't linger by the Str Trek section as you get some very odd types around there. (Well you do in my local library! ;-) )
